The Nike Golf Power Distance Soft is the 2011 version - designed to assist the club golfer who likes a little more bite on the green with the latest in 2 piece technology that responds to specific swing characteristics. These versatile characteristics result in more improved overall feel, generate optimal lift forces needed to maximise carry and deliver exceptional spin control all at a value price point - without shredding the ball like £30 a dozen balls tend to do. By varying the compression and dimple pattern of each ball in the Power Series, Nike Golf has created performance golf balls that satisfy the varying preferences of golfers and address the varying conditions of golf courses.

The Nike Power Distance PD7 Soft Long has a 2 piece construction with a high velocity Polybutaine core and a low spin distance cover for higher launch, injection molded Ionomer. It has a 392 Mid-High dimple pattern and has a golfer preference of a Mid head speed player looking for maximum control - handicaps 12-28.
