The best in the business.... A laser rangefinder is a distance-measuring instrument that uses laser technology to calculate the distance to targeted objects, with an accuracy of +/- 1 yard. PinSeeker technology is designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind. This mode allows easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD display.
Simply use the viewing lens to align the unit with your intended target, press the button and your distance will instantly appear, giving you the confidence to select your club with full confidence! This unit works up to 400 yards for flags, 1000 yards for trees and 1600 yards for reflective surfaces.
How Do Bushnell Rangefinders Work? - The Bushnell Laser rangefinders use a 'Class 1' laser beam which is 'bounced' off distant objects with the single press of a button. The units high-speed digital clock then measures the time it takes for the laser beam to reach the target and return to the unit. The unit then electronically calculates the distance to within +/- 1 yard and displays it instantly on the screen. This entire process takes less than a second!
